Funeral services were held at Miller’s chapel on Tuesday afternoon for Peter J. Mosegard, 66 years of age, who passed away Monday. Mr. Mosegard was a native of Denmark and came to Junction City in 1902 where he has lived since. The past year he has been in poor health and passed away at the home of his son, Andy J. who had been caring for him. He leaves another son Chris J. of Falk-ntna (sic), Alaska and three grandchildren, Nina, Clifford and Raymond Mosegard. Interment was in the Danish Cemetery.

NOTE: The town of Falk-ntna listed in the obituary is thought to be a typo. The town in Alaska where Peter's son, Chris J. lived, was probably Talkeetna, which was the location of Chris's summer lodging while trapping.
