He attended First Nazarene Church of Bethany. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors; wife Grace of the home, daughter Pam Heath of Oklahoma City, son Richard of Phoenix, sister Estel Hall of Concordia, Kansas, & Eileen Payne of Texarkana, Texas, brother Ercll Craven of Burroak, Kansas, 4 grandchildren.
