The Nebraska State Journal (Lincoln, NE) Tuesday, 22 July 1941
Falls City, NE - County Attorney John H Wiltse reported Monday that Robert R Draper, 86, killed himself with a shotgun on his farm near Dawson late Saturday. Wiltse said a note blamed ill health. A lifelong resident of Richardson County, Draper is survived by four sons and two daughters.

Dawson, NE, Sept 5 - Mrs Robert R Draper, 90, taught the first school in Dawson. She died at her Dawson farm home Sunday. Mrs Draper came to Nebraska 76 years ago. She and her husband observed their 60th wedding anniversary last spring. Two daughters and four sons survive.

Celia lived with her brother, Fountain Means, until her marriage and then moved with her husband to Jasper Co, IA. In 1866, they moved to Humboldt, NE where they remained until their deaths.
