Daniel G. Adams, born 2 Oct 1809 near Johnston, Penn. The eldest son of Elijah and Eva (Griffith) Adams, he grew up in Wayne Co., Ohio, married Catharine Contner Herr on 17 Nov 1831 in West Salem, Wayne Co., Ohio. In 1841 they moved to Elkhart Co., Indiana. In the 1880's they moved to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming. They were the parents of: John Herr, Clarissa Ann, Elijah Herr, Eslie Contner, Mary Jane and Joseph Henry. His wife Catharine is also buried in this cemetery.
