ARCHIE ADAMS IS VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA IN FEW DAYS

Archie Adams widely known in Denver and throughout the state, died yesterday of pneumonia in his rooms in the Crest Hotel, after an illness of only a few days. The funeral arrangements are deferred because of the influenza epidemic, but an announcement of the time is expected today.

Mr. Adams was the son of George L. Adams and was born in Denver in 1885. He was graduated from the North Denver High School and was connected with the Protective Signal company of Denver. He was a member of the Highland Lodge of Masons and of the El Jebel Shrine, the Denver Athletic Club and of the United Commercial Travelers. He was married seven years ago to Miss. Rose Concannon of Denver.

Mr. Adams is survived by his widow, his father, four brothers and two sisters, on of the brothers being James L. Adams, superintendent of transportation of the Denver Tramway Company.

ARCHIE M. ADAMS DIES OF PNEUMONIA

Prominent Business and Lodge Man is Victim of Brief Illness

Archie M. Adams, secretary of the Protective Signal Manufacturing Company, died Monday morning at the Crest Hotel of pneumonia after an illness of ten day days.

Mr. Adams was a native son of Colorado, born and educated in Denver, and the only 32 years old, already had won an estimable position in local business and fraternal circles. He was the son of George L. Adams, a Denver pioneer, and is survived by his father, his wife, who before her marriage was Rose Conconnan; four brothers, James Leonard Adams, George Logan Adams Jr., Eli R. Adams and Hardy Clifford Adams, and two sisters, Mrs. H. N. De Yarman and Mrs. Raymond McGrew. Mr. Adams was popular in local fraternal circles and was a member of Highland Lodge No. 86, A. F. & A. M.; Highland Chapter No. 39, A. F. & A. M.; Scottish Rite Consistory No. 1, El Jebel Temple, and the United Commercial Travelers. He was widely for his charitable work and was secretary-treasurer of the Home for Adult Blind. The body will be place in a receiving vault at Olinger’s Mortuary for the present and at a later date funeral services will be held under the auspices of the Masonic organizations of which Mr. Adams was a member.
