COLORADO CITY ~~ Mrs. Dorcas Vaught, 83, died in The Morris Nursing Home in Roscoe early Wednesday morning. Before moving to Roscoe three years ago she had lived in Colorado City since 1922.
She was born June 20, 1880 in Jackson County, Alabama and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Her late husband, Silas B. Vaught died in 1930.
She is survived by three sons, Henry and Zemmery, both of Colorado City, and Bobby of Big Spring; one daughter, Mrs. Hardy Franklin of St. Jo, Texas; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
