She never married. She was born in Charleston, SC. The family moved to Chattanooga, TN when she was a young girl and this is where her father, mother and one sister are buried. She moved from Chattanooga, TN to Laredo, Texas to be near her sister, Caroline, and other family members in the early 1930's. At her death she was living in the Hamilton Hotel in Laredo.
