She was born in Elkhart, Anderson Co, Texas.
She lived in Cloverleaf, Harris County, Texas and died there.

She first married William Higginbotham, son of Andrew Jackson and Mary Abbott Higinbotham. He died in 1918 and is buried here as well.
She and William had the following chikdren;
1. Nellie b. 1915
2. Iva Lee b. 1916
3. Ina Inez b. 1918

She then married Columbus Harrelson Aug 1, 1922.
He died Apr 8, 1950.
She and Columbus had the following children;
4. Faye b. May 16, 1923 [Twin]
5. Ray "Bud" b. May 16, 1923 [Twin]
6. Ernice b. Feb 2, 1926 [Twin]
7. Floyd Bernice "Lefty" b. Feb 2, 1926 [Twin]
