The 125th Anniversary of Christ Episcopal Church Sherburne, NY July 7th 1828 - 1953
Sacred to the memory of Amasa Skinner who died Oct. 29, 1831 aged 50 yrs and 6 mos. Early attached to the Episcopal Church, he exemplified the sincerity of his profession by a life remarkable for Christian living, Truly Godly simplicity and Virtuous moderation. None ever found anything in his temper or practice to sensure or reproach. As a proof of his regard for the Church of his choice his legacy of three hundred dollars was almost the last act of his life. Contributor: JRebecca (49340178) • [email protected]
