He was a glazier for the Cook Paint & Varnish Company in Salina for 43 years until he retired in 1969. He was the manager of the glass department for the last 20 years of his career. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Painters Union.
Survivors included his wife, Mary P. Gray; a son, Ronald E. Gray; a daughter, Patricia A. Marcotte; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
