The Muncy Luminary and Lycoming County Advisor, 11.9.1894, page 3:
Abraham Heilman, a well-known and lifelong resident of Clinton Township, died on Saturday last, aged 75 years and was buried in Black Hole Valley Tuesday. The funeral was largely attended and the services very impressive. His pastor, Rev. J. A. Koser spoke ably and appropriately of his association with deceased during his pastorate of six years, a greater part of which time, Mr. Heilman had been bedridden and a great sufferer but always patient, cheerful and ready to submit to the divine will. He based his remarks on the words "Our Fathers Where Are They". Rev. Lentz who occupied the pulpit where Mr. Heilman worshipped for eleven years beginning in (?) followed Mr. Koser and added his testimony to the character and worth of the deceased both as a Christian and as a citizen. (Next sentence not easily read) He eloquently and spoke with great ?? of the church, its ?? and the ?? pulpit and of his first acquaintance with the decedent and with his ??? father, mother, brothers and sisters, more than fifty years ago as well as many others who were then ??? active in the church and who have passed away, closing his remarkably able and eloquent address with words of comfort to the stricken widow and children and powerful appeal to those present and not Christians. He leaves a widow and three children, John, who resides at the homestead, Rev. Alonzo, pastor of the Lutheran Church at Bloomsburg, and Clara, intermarried with J. W. Bailey, Esq. of Williamsport.

Loving husband, kind father, true friend, honest man, may your sleep in the quiet graveyard and where your ancestry lie. In the rest of those who (rest unreadable).
