Simon Peter Heilman died at his
home, two miles south of the city on
the Oakland avenue road, at 5 a. m.
today, of bronchitis. He was past
eighty years of age, having been born
on March 11, 1828. The surviving
members of his family are his wife.
Julia; sons, Fred Heilman of Fort
Wayne, Abram Heilman, who is on
the home farm, and daughter, Mrs.
Hannah J. Rieber of Mt. Vernon, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at the
home a t 2 p. m. Sunday. Rev. C. E.
Rice of Grace Lutheran church will
preach the sermon.
