Jewell Barber
Mrs. Jewell M. Banks Barber, of Dardanelle died Monday, Jan 16.
She was former co-owner of Banks Grocery and a member of First Baptist Church.
She was born Sept. 13, 1921, to Marvin and Ora Campbell Peterson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lemoyne and Edward Peterson.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Barber, two daughters, Roberta Posey of Crosby, Texas, and Connie Stone of Dardanelle; two stepdaughters, Peggy Duvall of Pottsville and Kay Keys of Dardanelle; a stepson, David Barber of Stockholm, GA; four grandchildren, seven step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a nephew.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cornwell Chapel by the Rev. Jim Freeman.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service.
