Manning E. Temples was the child of Elder Dent Rountree and Gertrude Durden Temples. He was born in Emanuel County and later moving to Vidalia, Ga. He married Marie Beatrice Taylor on August 2, 1947 and were blessed to live together 55 years. He served Mt. Carmel PB Church and Bethlehem PB Church. He was serving Vidalia Old Line PB Church, and Old Canoochee PB Church at the time of his death. He was retired from Choo Choo Supply as an accountant for some 25 years.
