MRS RICHARD GRINNEN
Mrs. Sarah Grinnen, aged 76 years, wife of Richard Grinnen, died at her home in Wampum this morning at about 8 o'clock. Mrs. Grinnen had been in poor health for some time but had been able to be up and around. Her condition had seemed no worse lately and death came very unexpectedly.
For the past 38 years she had resided in Wampum and was highly respected. In addition to her husband, she leaves five sons, Gersham, William, Robert, and John of Wampum, and Elmer of Struthers, O.; four daughters, Mrs. J. S. Fry, of Youngstown, O., Mrs. Raymond Leight, of Wampum, Mrs. Blanche Grace of Allentown, Pa., and Nellie at home, sixteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one brother, John Bartle, of Wampum.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the residence.

Funeral services for the late Sarah Grinnen were conducted from her home in Wampum, on Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. Mrs. George Herbert sang two numbers, "Sometimes We'll Understand", and "Abide With Me.
Five of Mrs. Grinnen's sons, Elmer, Gus, William Robert, and John[,] and W. Grinnen were pallbearers. Her grandsons were flower boys.
Interment was made in Clinton cemetery.
