Mr. Otis William Luke Sr., 72, of 3966 Wrightsboro Road, entered into rest Friday, August 5, 1988 at Humana Hospital Augusta. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Mike Rhodes, Otis Gould, Hank Maddox, Joe Mays and Tony Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Gaylord Gould, Joe Zales, Roy McCaslan, Kenny Smith, Jesse Maddox and Guy Maddox. Mr. Luke, a native of Richmond County, was a retired sheet metal worker and was a U S Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #85 and Big Buck Hunting Club. Survivors include his wife, Freda Watkins Luke; two sons, Roy Ivey Luke and Otis William Luke Jr., both of Augusta, and two sisters, Lucille Williams and Trudell Luke, both of Beaufort, S.C. Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
