Olcie Pardue Armour, Jr., 67, owner and operator of Armour Drug Mart in Houlka for the past 43 years, died Friday, April 11 1975, at Powell Clinic in Houlka. He was the husband of Mrs. Lena Armour, an employee of Northeast Miss. Production Credit Assn. in Houston.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 pm, April 12 from Houlka Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The rev. Woodrow Horn officiated.
Pallbearers were Richard Chrestman, Frank Owens, Lloyd Smith, Wayne Buchanan, Wilton Chrestman, and Alvin Collums.
Mr. Armour was born Feb 28 1908 in Monroe County, and was the son of the late Olcie Pardue Armour, Sr. and Minnie Dean Armour. He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Austin Armour of Houlka; two brothers, James W Armour and C B Armour, both of Houlka; two sisters, Mrs. Nadine Simons of Houlka and Mrs. Minnie Mae Brunson of Tupelo and one nephew, Mike Armour of Houlka.
