Mrs. Minnie Armour Buried at Houlka

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Houlka Methodist Church for Mrs. Minnie Armour who died at 3 o'clock Sunday morning at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis after undergoing two major operations. Services were conducted by the Rev. E H Cunningham, pastor of the Houlka Methodist Church and was assisted by the Rev. Bob Posey, pastor of the Houlka Baptist Church.

Mrs. Armour, 78 years of age, was the widow of the Rev. O P Armour, Jr. She was a member of the Houlka Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, O P Armour, Jr., of Houlka, James Armour of Memphis, Tenn., two daughters, Mrs. Frank Brunson of Tupelo and Mrs. Weston Simons of Houston, and four step children, C B Armour of Houlka, Croom Armour and Miss Annie Armour of Nettleton, and Mrs. Opa Thompson of Booneville.

Houlka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Old Houlka.
