Shirley N. Johnston, 81, of Cotton, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at her home.
She was born on Aug. 4, 1930, in St. Paul, to Carl and Martha (Habberstad) Anderson and grew up in Forest Lake.
She married Donald Johnston in 1951. She was a homemaker and housewife.
Survivors include four sons, Steven (Margie) Johnston, David Johnston, Larry Johnston. and Mark (Constance) Johnston ; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Peterson and Lois Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald; two brothers, Donald and Robert; and one sister, Gwen.
