BOONEVILLE ‑ Wesley Milton Anderson, 79, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at his daughter's home in Oxford. He was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Wheeler. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer with 21 years service in the U. S. Air Force and managed the Booneville Grain Company fol­lowing his military service. He was a member of Wheeler Methodist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. J. A. Thornton officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Ceme­tery.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Opal Carpenter Anderson; one daughter. Kathy Lamb, and her hus­band, Russell, of Oxford; two grand­sons, Kevin and Kristopher Smith of Oxford; a granddaughter, Lynda Smith of Oxford; two step grandchildren, Kelly and Kristen Lamb of Oxford; one brother, W. Clarence Anderson of Memphis; one sister, Ruby Davis of Forest City, N. C.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert E. Anderson, Joe Forrest Anderson and Earl Anderson.
