*THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 15 Jan 1987. 'Mrs. L. N. (Beaulah) Floyd, 2475 Ballard, died at her home Saturday, 10 Jan 1987. Services were held Tuesday, 13 Jan, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. A. B. White officiating.

Burial was in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mrs. Floyd was born 13 Feb 1904, in Deport, a daughter of F. C. Westmoreland and Susan Frances Pettit Westmoreland. She married Lowel N. Floyd in 1922. He died 30 Sep 1976.

She attended Deport schools and had lived in the Paris area since her marriage. She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Homebound Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cortis (Mary Ann) McGuire of Rt. 6, Paris; three sons, Orbie Floyd of Llano, Bill R. Floyd of Fort Worth and Bobby Jack Floyd of Sherman; a foster son, W. D. Stephenson of Garland; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Lillie Scott of Blossom; three brothers, Carl Westmoreland of Blossom, Clarence Westmoreland of Blossom, and Dean Westmoreland of Whitesboro.'
