CARTER GRAVES
These graves are located about one mile south of Grassy Creek, KY, off Hwy 205, to the right of a bridge leading to the Bert Gevedon Farm.

Something that makes these graves unique is that they are in a homemade type mausoleum. The stones used to create this mausoleum are completely surrounded by saplings and one would not realize there were graves there if they did not know what they were looking at. Mr. Bert Gevedon had tried to keep saplings cut back but roots were under the tomb.
