Hollis Chalk 78, of Dennard, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Ozark Health Medical Center, Clinton, Arkansas.

He was born February 23, 1931 to the late Thomas Warsaw and Nancy Ann Florence Archer Chalk.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Euple Henry, and Sue Standley three brothers, Alvin Chalk, Thurman Chalk and Thomas O`Neal Chalk, half sister, Mittie Archer, half brother Cecil Chalk.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Barbara Garland Chalk of the home, daughter, Angie Madden and husband Dewayne of Sterlington, LA; Jay Chalk and wife Jennifer of Fort Worth, TX; John Chalk and wife Cindy of Conway, AR; eight grandchildren, Amber and Tricia Madden, Jaye, Jaki, and Jobe Chalk, Emily, Jacob, and Lily Chalk, two brothers, Donald Chalk of Dennard, and L.C. Chalk of Clinton, three sisters, Christine Wolf of Clinton, Maudie Faye Reese of Jackson, GA; and Annie Holley of Botkinburg, and many other family and friends.

Casketbearers: Bruce Chalk, Dan Elliott, Jim Henry, Ricky Reese, Gary Wolf, and Randall Wolf.

Honorary Casketbearers: Junior Holley, Thomas Holley, Danny Chalk, Eddie Reese, and Larry Wolf.

Burial was in Dennard Cemetery Highway 65 North Dennard, Arkansas.
