Alton Dillon, 95, of Harrison died Saturday, Oct. 3 (2009) at Hospice House in Harrison.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at White Church Cemetery with Norman Sewell officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Blake Chitsey, Lewis Dart, Bubby Trotter and the state of Hospice of the Hills.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Hills.

The son of Ed and Myrtle (Trotter) Dillon was born July 24, 1914, at Gaither. He was a farmer and enjoyed horses and mules. He was a member of Capps Road Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudie Dillon; a daughter, Wilma Faye Dillon; and his parents.





He is survived by two sons and their spouses, Gerry and Charlotte Dillon of Harrison and Eddie Dillon of Harrison; six grandchildren, Stephen and Ricci Dillon of Harrison, Jennifer and Mark Marshall of Harrison, Heath and Dawn Dillon of Harrison, Tracy and Bobby Hardy of Bergman, Derecca and Vance Ables of Harrison and Wesley Davis of Harrison; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren
