Vera "Peggy" Parson, 69 of Arkoma, Oklahoma died on Tuesday, October 13th in a Fort Smith hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her son Raymond Parson.
Services were at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Randy Jay officiating. Burial was at U.S. National Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband George of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Howard of Arkoma, OK and Lori Nester of Marshall, Texas; one son, George A. Parson of Arkoma, OK; one sister Cheryl Swanson of Pennsylvania; one brother, Richard Chiquet of Van Buren, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
