VanNEST – Iola (Boring), 86, Loretto, died Oct. 13, 2009, at Laurel Crest, Ebensburg. Born March 6, 1923, in Heilwood, daughter of the late Hughie and Nancy Olie (Gressley) Boring. Preceded in death by husband, Francis; brothers, Floyd, Blaine, Leroy, Carl and Boyd; and sisters, Thelma, Erma and Peg. Survived by brother, the Rev. Leland, Bradford; sister, Dorothy, Las Vegas, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Ron Barto. Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery, Loretto.
