He was a member of the Duncannon Methodist Church, the I.O.O.F. of Duncannon, and the Knights of Pythias Lodge.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary Potts, West Lawn, Pa., Mrs. Sara Grubb and Mrs. Dorothy Reigelmeier, both of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Rose Bender of Duncannon R.D. 2, two sons, William S. of Lewisburg and Charles W. of New Bloomfield; one brother, D. Paul Kugler of Harrisburg, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Nickel Funeral Home, 403 Market St. Duncannon with the Rev. Walter Glenn, Pastor of the Duncannon Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
