Funeral services for Brunis W. Alexander, 72, who died Wednesday, were conducted Friday at Coneross Baptist Church by Rev. N. J. Kimbrell. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Garnett Crenshaw, David DuBose, Robert Zetwick, Brosing Harmon, Hugh Alexander and Jones Duckworth.
A lifelong resident of Oconee county, son of the late Wilbur and Sally Marett Alexander, he was a member of Coneross Baptist Church and the S.C. Forester Commission. His wife, Mrs. Anna DuBose Alexander died in 1953.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. L. B. Coleman of the home; two sons, Maurice W. Alexander of Holland, Va., and Julian M. Alexander of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. B. D. Breazeale, Mrs. Jesse King and Mrs. Grover Hubbard of Westminster; and a granddaughter. Sandifer Funeral Home was in charge.
