From The Casey Co News, Liberty, Casey Co, KY - June Rodgers of Liberty died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at the James B. Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg. She was 60. Born on Nov. 2, 1948 in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late James Preston and Vasca Patterson Wesley. She was a homemaker, former employee of Liberty Sportswear, and owner and operator of Jerry and June Upholstery. She was a member of Cowdens Chapel Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rodgers; a daughter, Junetta West of Russell Springs; two sons, Jeremy Rodgers of Winchester and Josh Rodgers of Liberty; four grandchildren, Zakary and Addison Rodgers and Kelsey and Colby West; three brothers, Carlos Wesley of Liberty, Kirby Wesley of Campbellsville and Melvin Wesley of Lancaster; and a sister, Charleen James of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her brother Randy Lee Wesley, another brother Henry Paul Wesley and a sister Betty Sue Wesley Funeral services were Oct. 10 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bro. Ron Robinson. Burial was in Whited Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leon Wesley, Ronnie Wesley, John James, Melvin Wesley, Kirby Wesley, Earl James, and Junior and Carlos Wesley.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rodgers of Liberty; a daughter, Junetta West of Russell Springs; sons, Jeremy Rodgers of Winchester and Josh Rodgers of Liberty; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Carlos, Kirby & Melvin Wesley; and a sister, Carleen James. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.
