MRS. THOMAS J. HAMMONS
Mrs. Martha E. Hammons, 83, 1924 Washington, died at her home today at 5:30 a.m. after an illness of five years. She was born and raised at Fair Grove and had been a resident of Springfield for 55 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond and Gene, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Golda F. Rheuark, home; a brother, Clay Miller, Riverside, Calif.; three grandchildren.
Funeral services are under the direction of Herman Lohmeyer.
