She is the daughter of Frank Gentry Robinson and Sarah Frances Lillard Robinson. She married Forest/Forrest L. Merchant, the son of John W. Merchant and Dora B. Pepper Merchant in June 1907. They had two children, Russell and Mary Annette "Annette." She was generous and fun to be with. The giggles she had with her sister Frances amused everyone around them and made everyone consider them 'cute' despite the fact that they were distinguished members of the community in Kansas City.
