Evan Irwin, 87, Havensville, died Wednesday, December 12, 1990, at his home in Havensville.
He had worked for Santa Fe Railway and in the produce business in Havensville. He operated a Havensville grocery store and served as caretaker of the Havensville Cemetery.
Mr. Irwin was born October 20, 1903, at Havensville, the son of William Arthur and Allie Dennis Irwin. He was graduated from Havensville High School in 1922.
He was a member of the Havensville Christian Church.
Mr. Irwin was married to Ruth Ellis. They were divorced, he was married to Loneita Boling on March 18, 1939, at Seneca. They were divorced.
Survivors include a son, Gary L. Irwin, Topeka; a daughter, Marietta Lowery, Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Lavonia Hiskey, Havensville; and two grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, at the Havensville Christian Church. Burial was in the Havensville Cemetery.
