She is survived by her children James Howard "Bobo" Hall, Jr., Terry Lynn Hall, Paul Edward Hall, Betty Ann (Hall) Shaw, and Cheryl Sue (Hall) Morrow.
During her life, such that it was, she learned to fend for herself. So during the many years of not being married to anyone after her divorce with James, she continued to provide for herself. During her single years, for she never married again, she supported herself by cleaning offices and homes.
Note: Of all my aunts, even being "removed," this woman was the nicest, friendliest, most caring of all. She was my friend. I'm not rich, but to this end, I gave Doris the one thing that meant a lot to both of us. I gave her the grave next to my mother, whom she liked a lot and vice versa. I wish that I could have done more for her throughout her life, but at least I am blessed for having had her in my life for so many years and that I could always count on her as a friend.
