JUNCTION CITY - A memorial service will be held May 26 for Gladys Marie Bodtker of Junction City, who died May 22 of cancer. She was 90.

She was born July 15, 1909, in WA., to C.T. and Mary Tanneberg Christensen. She moved to Junction City from St. Andrews, WA., and graduated from Junction City High School in 1927. She married Joen Bodtker in Junction City on March 22, 1931.

She worked as a custodian for the Junction City School District and was a cannery worker during the summers. Her interest included sewing, painting, cake decorating and traveling. She was a Lutheran Church member and belonged to the Danish Sisternood and the Danish Ladies Aide Orgs.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Duane of Klamath Falls; two daughters, Joan Dodge of McLean, VA., and Mary Murphy of Eugene; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friday's service will be held at 3 p.m. at the Faith Luthern Church in Junction City. Andreason's Cremation & Burial Service in Eugene is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice organization.
