Ruby Mary Revercomb Foster, 92, of Bridgewater, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002. She had lived at the Bridgewater Home since April 13, 2000. Mrs. Foster was born April 14, 1910, and was a daughter of the late Sadie Virginia Robinson and John Forest Revercomb.
She graduated from Bridgewater High Class of 1930 and was employed at the Silk Mill in Harrisonburg. She lived on a farm in the Spring Creek area all of her adult life. She was a member of the Clover Hill United Methodist Church and attended the Briery Branch and Sangerville Churches of the Brethren.
On Aug. 23, 1934, she married Haran Zirkle Foster, who preceded her in death May 26, 1985.
She is survived by a son, Paul Joseph Foster of Bridgewater; two daughters, Thelma Michael of Mount Solon, and Mary Foster of Bensalem, Pa.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The Revs. Kevin Daggett and John M. Foster will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sangerville Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends at the home of Thelma Michael or Paul Foster at any time. Memorial donations may be made to the Sangerville Church of the Brethren or the Mount Solon Fire and Rescue Squad. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
