Mrs. Augusta Henkel, 81, a former Stevens Point resident, died in San Diego, Calif., Thursday morning, according to word received here today. Mrs. Henkel lived at 314 Oak St., for about 10 years until 1954. She had made her home since with a daughter, Mrs. Russell Arts, in San Diego. Services will be at the Colby (Wis.) Methodist Church Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Colby Cemetery. The Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby is hi charge of arrangements. Mrs. Henkel was born July 25, 1875. Her husband, Gustave Henkel, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America here and the Women's Society of Christian Service at St. Paul's Methodist Church. Surviving are nine children, including Mrs. Alfred S. Phipps, Ironwood, Mich., formerly of Stevens Point and Mrs. Art; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
