Funeral service for Thelma (Marlow) Craig, 84, of Tuttle, were held at 1pm, Friday, 6/12/2009, at the First Baptist church of Tuttle. She was born 3/12/1925 in Tuttle, the daughter of Joseph Eugene Marlow Sr & Effie Iown (Adams) Marlow. She died 6/8/2009 in Tuttle. Thelma attended OBU and while enrolled there, was a companion to Mrs Robert S. Kerr. She later attended OCW in Chickasha. Thelma worked at Douglas Aircraft during World War II. She worked at Western Electric and then worked for John A. Brown, when it was located in downtown Oklahoma City. She retired from Dillard's Department store at Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City. Thelma & Gene Craig were married 4/26/1947 in Gainsville, TX. He preceded her in death 5/4/1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, & 3 sisters. Survivors include sons, Tom Craig of Eufaula and Jim Craig of Tuttle, daughter, Jacquetta Lair, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of Sevier funeral home.
