Miss Mattie A.Gorin,82 sister of the late O.B Gorin,president of Millikin National bank for many years died today in the Decatur and Macon county hospital. She had been a patient there since Dec. 6. Some years ago she fell and suffered a hip fracture and the effects of which had confined her to a wheel chair.

A life long resident of Decatur she was born here on March 30,1860. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Gorin. Her father became associated with the Millikin bank in 1881 as a partner of the late James Millikin,founder of the bank.
The Gorin family settled here in 1833. She was born in the house on Prairie Ave. and lived there all her life.

The following brothers and sisters preceded her in death,O.E.Gorin, J.P. Gorin, Gladdin Gorin,Mrs. W.C. Armstrong and Mrs. C.C. Middleton.

Funeral services will be held Monday in the Dawson chapel with burial in the Greenwood cemetery.
