James Ivery White, 87, of Paris died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, in Dallas. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. R. Westbrook Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Garden Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born May 21, 1915, in Biardstown, to the late Robert and Laura Bills White. Survivors include his wife, Jernettia White; two sons, Charlie Lee White of Paris and Robert White of Dallas; one brother, John Robert White of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three sisters, Ruby White of Wellington, Arnita Venson of Amarillo and Geneva Wallace of Paris.
