Mike Hagood, 55, of Austin died at home on Lake Travis on Wednesday after several months illness. Mike was born May 17, 1952 in Austin and attended Pearce Jr. High, Reagan High and three semesters of college. He worked as a Contractor all of his life doing construction, welding, boat building and land work in the Lake area.

Mike had many friends and he lived life to the fullest. His special loves were his two German Shepherds, his Harley bike and his boats. Mike will be deeply missed by his friends, his family and his dogs.

Mike is survived by his mother, Gwen Hagood Ross, his sister, Gail Lynn Hagood, his daughter, Kristy Lynn Dearing and his two grandchildren, Gabriel Kane Heitkamp and Gibson Arial Dearing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Viewing will be held at noon Monday, June 18th and services at 1:00 p.m. Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar in Austin. Burial at CookWalden Memorial Hill Cemetery, 14501 North IH 35 at Howard Lane, Pflugerville.
