Services for Tessie J. Carroll, 73, of Greenwood, who died of cardiopulmonary distress Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. today at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carroll was a homemaker. Born in Greenwood, she was a longtime resident of Carroll County. She was a member of Valley Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armond Benford Carroll Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Brown of Greenwood; two sons, Armond Benford Carroll Jr. of North Carrollton and Gary Allen Carroll of Greenwood; three sisters, Nina Herbert of Jackson, Mary Minyard of McCarley and Nell Joiner of Carrollton; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Scott Hudson and the Rev. Thomas Delaney will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Teoc.
Pallbearers will be Tony Dunn, Kenny Self, Scotty Self, Lacey Little, Trey Dunn and Stacy Joiner.
Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
