Missing Marie Ella Smith Strong Santa Cruz,and Fay L. Smith Brito, both died in Cuba. Zorah Smith died after 1909 don't know where, and son, Ralph E. Smith, unknown where buried. All together 13 children of this family.


The Bryan Democrat, Monday, July 9, 1945. Mr. George W. Smith, age 94, died Wednesday afternoon in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lillie Clemens, at Williams Center. He leaves six daughters, Mrs. Clemmens, Mrs. Charles Gosson, Akron; Mrs. Wilfred SantaCruz, Havana, Cuba; Mrs. Frank Gardner, Lakewood; Mrs. Cora Langley, Cleveland; and Mrs. Gertrude Vocke, New Lebanon; a son William Smith, Dayton, two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Bumgardner, Elida; and Mrs. Sarah Shook, Muncie, Indiana, and three brothers, William, Martin and Richard Smith of Lima.
