COMMERCE — Marvin L. Morrison, formerly of Commerce, was born Dec. 30, 1915, to Robert Washington Morrison and Etta Brunetta Britt in Yantis, in Hopkins County, Texas.
He died Oct. 7, 2009, in Midwest City, Okla. He was 93 years old.
Mr. Morrison married Lynette K. Hartmann on May 22, 1951.
His wife preceded him in death.
Mr. Morrison is survived by his two sons, Edward Morrison and spouse Cindy of Midwest City, Okla., and Warren Morrison of Commerce; two granddaughters, Melody Elder of McPherson, Kan., and Ericca Morrison of Tulsa, Okla.; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today beginning at 11 a.m. at Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home in Commerce.
A graveside service follows at 1 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
