Celebration of Life Service at Portland Ave. Baptist Church, 10:30 am, Thursday, October 8. Bryan was a loving son, brother, husband, father, hero. He had a large circle of friends and family supporting him as he made his journey to be with his Lord. He knows that he had many treasures awaiting his arrival in Heaven. Jesus gave us Bryan 30 short years ago. Now we had to give him back. But, oh what a 30 years!!! He was always there for anyone in need with either a joke, a hug, a handout, or a slap on the wrist. He never turned anyone away. He would be strong for those that could no longer be strong. Now it is our turn to be strong for each other. It is time now to celebrate the 30 wonderful years we had with Bryan. We love him and will miss him, but he is in a far better place. Bryan is survived by his wife, Amanda; his son, Asher; his daughter, Alyssa; father, Jim Hughes; step-mother, Judy Hughes; sister, Lindsey Hartman; mother, Kathy Magsam; step-father, Dean Magsam; and numerous friends and family. In lieu of flowers, there will be a college fund set up for his kids.
