John E. Andrews, about 80, longtime Fremont resident, was found dead at his residence at 12th and Lincoln Streets, Saturday about 10 a.m., by a neighbor, Martin Fredriksen, according to Sheriff Pelham McGee.
The sheriff, accopanied by Deputy County Attorney Richard L. Kuhlman, investigated and said death was apparently due to natural causes. Andrews lived alone at the house and had apparently been dead about two days, said McGee.
Andrews is survived by two sons, Percy Andrews of Fremont and Laurel Andrews, of New York City; and a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Miller of Norfolk.
