Lorraine is survived by 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Ruth Smart of Denton and Pansy Webb of Abilene TX, and several nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
Lorraine was a retired cosmetologist and had taught Bible classes in Dallas and Denton for several years. She belonged to the Rebekah Lodge for 50 years and the First Baptist Church for several years. She enjoyed traveling by car with her husband all over the U.S. and Canada and Mexico. She enjoyed her family and friends.
A visitation was held on Sunday October 4, 2009 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Denton Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Monday October 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Park. Services were under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
