Funeral services were held in the chapel of Young Funeral Home on August 24, 2007 with Billy Hinson officiating. Burial followed at the Hunt Hill Cemetery on Spring Creek.
Mr. Barber is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Pearl Epley Barber; sons, Ardis Barber and Lonnie Barber; also a granddaughter Tammy Barber.
Survivors include his son Johnny (Nina) Barber, Linden, TN; daughters, Wilma Polan, Linden, TN, Linda (Paul) Battles, Parsons, TN, Glenda (William) Edney, Lobelville, TN and Brenda (Bill) Cathey of Columbia, TN; also thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
