Alena "Lee" Dick, 84, passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Luke's in the Meadow Episcopal Church. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Alena was born in Lenoir City, Tenn., to Wilkie and Carrie Babb. She attended Texas Christian University. She was employed with Texas Electric for 43 years as an administrative assistant. She and her husband were actively involved with the Moslah RV Camping Club, and she also prepared the annual membership roster for a number of years. She and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country. Mrs. Dick sang in the St. Luke's in the Meadow Episcopal Church choir for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Dick, in 2006, and brother, Raymond Babb Sr.
Survivors: Special friend, Martha Mabry; nephews, Robert G. Friend and wife, Deborah, of Harvest, Ala., Charles Friend and wife, Billie, of Lorain, Ohio, and Raymond Babb Jr. of Florida; and nieces, Cathy Seibert and husband, Fred, of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Betsy Doane and husband, Allen, of Vermillion, Ohio. She is also survived by her loving dog, Dedra.
