Sherman J. Thomas, 69, died peacefully at his home in Centerville surrounded by his loving family on March 18, 2000 after a 2

Sherm was married to Sheila Swain from 1956 until her death in 1976. They had three daughters and two sons, Janet Hunsaker, Kim Skollingsberg, Deborah Bingham, Bradley Thomas, and Randy Thomas. Sherm remarried and spent 15 years with Jeanne Palmer Thomas. He is survived by brothers, Boyd Thomas, Salt Lake City, Don Thomas, Sandy, and Jon Thomas, Grantsville, three daughters, three stepsons, two stepdaughters, 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

His parents, wife, two sons, and sister, Betty, preceded him in death.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Thursday, March 23rd from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday March 24th. Either flowers or a contribution to the Huntsman Cancer Institute would be appreciated. Flowers will later be donated to nursing homes.
