While Mrs. C.P. Pritchard attended to household tasks, her nine month old
daughter toddled to the back porch of their Tuxedo farm home west of Stamford.
That was Tuesday afternoon. Moments later Mrs. Pritchard found the child drowned
in a five-gallon bucket of water.
The baby, Sharon Morlene Pritchard, was born January 30, 1939, in Stamford,
Texas. Surviving: her parents; 2 sisters: Mrs. H.M. Phillips, Jr. of Stamford
and Helen Pritchard of Tuxedo; 2 brothers: Edwin and Bill Pritchard of Tuxedo;
grandfathers: J.H. Rivers of Tuxedo, J.H. Pritchard of Fort Worth.
